The BoR glossary if you don't get those pesky acronyms:
NDW: North Downs Way. A 153 mile national trail path starting at Farnham (Surrey) ending at Dover (Kent) and Robs favourite. Many a race is hosted on it or involves it. The NDW is quickly becoming a taboo topic on the BoR Podcast
SDW: South Downs Way. A 100ish mile national trail path starting at Winchester (Hampshire) ending at Eastbourne (East Sussex). Many a race is hosted on it or involves it.
BoR: Band of Runners
DNS: Did not start
DNF: Did not finish
Centurion: A race event company that hosts 50mile and 100mile races. Rob and Simon are looking to Grand Slam the 100’s in 2020.
Grand Slam: A series of events that once all completed (usually in the same year) results in a Grand Slam.
Double Slam: When two series of events are completed (usually in the same year). Rob is looking to do this with the Centurion 50’s and 100’s in 2020.
Tow Path: When referred to in the show it usually means running along a section of the River Thames somewhere
Casual: When referring to a race pace, usually means not putting in maximum effort
LDWA: Long Distance Walking Association
Phoenix: A race event company heavily used by the BoR
SVN: Saxons Vikings and Normans. A race event company heavily used by the BoR
Running Miles: A race event company heavily used by the BoR
STE: Sussex Trail Events. A race event company heavily used by the BoR
Potatoes: Usually a humorous insult thrown around by Rob
